We are all about local businesses and helping the environment and we know you are too. And that’s why we are giving you the opportunity to attend a unique event: a preview of the new Tesla Model S car.

This event, co-organized by Gemz and Tesla, will be hosted on on September 8th at the Berkeley Tennis Club from 4-8pm.

The Model S prototype is a show car hand-built in 2009 to demonstrate the design intent of Model S. Now it’s on tour to make public its exquisite styling and advance engineering at open house events across North America.
Model S is a premium sedan engineered from the ground up as an electric car. it pushes the boundaries of functionality, style, and efficiency. By positioning the battery pack under the floor and maximizing packaging efficiency, Model S provides unparalleled handling, safety, and cargo room.

Tesla Motors, Inc. is a Silicon Valley-based company that designs, manufactures and sells electric cars and electric vehicle powertrain components. It is currently the only automaker building and selling a zero-emission sports car, the Tesla Roadster, in serial production and its new zero-emission premium sedan, the Model S, will be built at the 350,000-square-foot Tesla Factory in Fremont, California, starting in 2012.
